Highlights
Another fun set, this time at the Arizona State Fair. Substituting Fabian Egger, who is on a trip back to his home country Switzerland, is once again Rick Jordan on drums.
This gig features a particularly gorgeous rendition of "Outlaws of Love", with the background singers adding layers of perfect vocal harmony.
It's a few hours before Tommy's 31st birthday, so just before "Naked Love", Adam leads the band and audience into singing "Happy Birthday".
The gig features a number of on-stage shenanigans:
- During "Naked Love", Adam yanks up his underwear to show it off. The undergarments turn out to be the "Trespassing" briefs that he caught on stage during the Caulfield gig in Australia just a few days ago.
- In the middle of "Never Close Our Eyes", Adam randomly decides to mug for the videographer's camera by lying on the floor to strategically plant his face in front of the camera!
- During "Cuckoo", Adam sings snatches of Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" – composed by Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers – changing "family" to "Glamily".
